Well Mother Nature hasn't been too good to Chapter G2 since my last installment for the newsletter. We had two rides cancelled due to rain, on due to ice, and one due to 40 mph winds.
In all I think that we only had two rides that we even got to start out on. Pauls ride to the Stumpwater Inn, which ended up being a ride to Longview since the Inn had closed down, was great. As always Paul did an excellent job leading the ride! And as for Randy's breakfast ride to The Shed, what else do we need to say. We are still holding our record for the Shed rides, as usual we got into some terrible rain. But we did make it as far as Canton, before we came to our senses and called it quits.
With all that said, we can all rest assured that we are in for better days ahead. The weather will be clearing soon, and we will have plenty of opportunities to get in some good riding.
We have some good rides on the calendar, and are looking forward to some good times with all our Gold Wing friends.
There are several rallies coming up in the near future and that will give us a chance to get out and visit with some of the other Chapters, our old friends and to make some new ones.
